Students will have homework EVERY day, Monday through Thursday, and frequently on Friday for the weekend beginning September 8th, 2008. Homework will ALWAYS include Math, Spelling, Grammar, and Science OR Social Studies.
Homework in 4th grade should last no longer than one hour a night, NOT including reading. If your child consistently takes longer it may be because they did not use their time in class wisely to complete classwork. If this happens, classwork becomes homework. However, I would like you to contact me regardless to discuss any potential issues.
